Officials Have Issued 10 Citations in Leo Frigo Crash

Green Bay Police say they have issued 10 citations following a multi-car crash on the Lego Frigo Bridge.

They say 5 were issued for following too closely and 5 were issued for driving too fast for conditions.

According to police, 11 separate crash investigations were conducted. Green Bay Police remind drivers to take extra time when there’s bad weather and always give plenty of space between you and other drivers.

The Green Bay Police Department says the Leo Frigo Bridge has been opened for both Northbound and Southbound traffic.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has released a detour map for drivers to avoid the Leo Frigo Bridge as crews investigate the accident Tuesday morning.

Accident Causes Closure on Leo Frigo Bridge

Law enforcement officers are in the process of closing access to the Leo Frigo Bridge in Green Bay following an accident.

An image from the Department of Transportation camera network shows the accident involving several vehicles involved in the southbound lane. 

I-41 and I-43 in the area will be closed as the accident investigation begins.
