The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the death of 7-year-old Ethan Hauschultz from Town of Newton.
On April 20th, the Manitowoc County Joint Dispatch Center was contacted by the local hospital about an unresponsive child that was brought in by a family member. He was pronounced dead at 9:22 that same evening after receiving multiple life saving measures.
An autopsy was performed today at Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office and the cause of death is still unknown. The Manitowoc County District Attorney’s Office and Manitowoc County Coroner’s Office are working together on potential criminal charges.
The investigation is still ongoing.
