Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating a Sunday afternoon crash between two motorcycles in the Town of Gibson.

The preliminary investigation shows that a 2012 Harley Davidson driven by a 58-year-old man from Luxemburg began to slow down, when a second motorcycle, a 1995 Harley Davidson driven by a 67-year-old man with a 48-year-old passenger both from Kewaunee, WI, struck the first motorcycle.

Police say this caused both drivers to lose control of their motorcycles and all three motorcyclists were ejected onto the roadway.

The 67-year-old man and 48-year-old woman were transported to Aurora BayCare in Bellevue and the 58-year-old man was transported to St. Vincents in Green Bay for serious injuries.

According to State Patrol, heavy rain and alcohol are possible contributing factors to the crash.

None of the motorcyclists were wearing helmets.
