Pedestrian Killed by Plow Identified
The pedestrian who was killed by a front-end loader in the City of Oconto has been identified as 70-year-old Ernest Boucher of Oconto.
According to Channel3000.com, the loader, which is city-owned was not removing snow at the time and was headed back to the Street Department shop.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is continuing to investigate.
More Information Released on Pedestrian Killed
Officials have released more information on the pedestrian that was killed in Oconto by a plow vehicle.
The front end loader with a snow blower attached was traveling eastbound on Pecor Street approaching the intersection of County Highway S. At the same time a 70-year-old male was walking east in the eastbound lane of traffic and was hit from behind by the plow.
The man’s name is not being released at this time.
Plow Vehicle Strikes and Kills Pedestrian
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol Fond Du Lac branch a pedestrian was killed today after being hit by a plow vehicle in the City of Oconto.
The accident happened around 2:35 this afternoon on Pecor Street near County Highway F.
This is an ongoing investigation.
