UPDATE: Suspect Identified in Oshkosh Robbery, Police Ask Public for Information

Officers say they have identified a suspect in the Motel 6 armed robbery.

The suspect is identified as 36 year old, Rasheed J Giles.

According to police, Rasheed J Giles is wanted in connection with this robbery and may be in possession of a firearm.

Police say an armed robbery occurred at Motel 6 in Oshkosh today. 

Officers responded to the motel at 1015 S Washburn street just before 5:00 this morning to investigate a report of an armed robbery.

The victim told officers a man came into that location and showed a handgun.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the victim.

The Oshkosh Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is currently investigating this incident.
