Update: Woman dies in Three Vehicle Crash in Greenville

We have an update on the three vehicle crash in the Town of Greenville Thursday.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office says the 33-year-old Greenville woman injured in that crash died at the hospital.
Her name will not be released at this time. The crash remains under investigation.


A 3 vehicle crash on STH 15 at Manley Rd in the Town of Greenville this afternoon led to two drivers being transported to the hospital

Around 1:04 PM, Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office was sent to the scene.

A Honda, driven by a 16 year old male from Appleton, failed to yield the right of way and struck an Eastbound Volkswagen SUV driven by a 33 year old female from Greenville.

The SUV then lost control and entered the westbound lane, where she collided with a semi-truck and trailer. 

The semi-truck was driven by a 62 year old male from Menasha.

The driver of the SUV was transported by a Theda Star helicopter to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. 

The truck driver was also transported to a local hospital via ambulance with minor injuries.

The Honda driver and passenger were not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
