GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Foundation is one of the recipients of a sizeable gift from the Ronald and Pauline Heim Charitable Fund. On Tuesday, it was announced the fund would be donating more than $16.5 million to more than 30 nonprofits.
The UW-Green Bay Foundation says they expect to receive about $75,000 annually. The money will be designated for scholarships in the name of Ron and Pauline Heim. Chancellor Gary Miller says he admires the generosity of the Heims.
“This gift is remarkable, and through their commitment to student scholarships, they will help countless students pursue their dreams of earning a college degree at UW-Green Bay. Scholarships provide both a financial and motivational boost to hard-working, dedicated students.”
Pauline Heim established the endowed fund to assure selected nonprofits receive the support they need each year.
