UW Schools Considering Tuition Increase for Graduate Programs

Graduates at University of Wisconsin schools may soon have to shell out more money for tuition.

According to Channel3000, The proposal would affect the universities at Eau Claire, Green Bay, La Crosse, Oshkosh, Parkside, Stevens Point, Stout and Whitewater. UW-Green Bay would see the largest increase with resident graduate rates going from $7,793 to $7,996 and nonresident graduate rates increasing from $17,106 to $17,551.

Tuition for some specialty graduate programs would also increase, including business programs at UW-Oshkosh.

UW officials are expected to vote on the matter on Friday.
