UWGB Phuture Phoenix Program Expands to Eighth Grade Students

Local News

Local eighth-grade students will have the chance to experience college life this April as part of UW-Green Bay’s Phuture Phoenix program.

UWGB is expanding its signature program, which used to only host fifth graders. This month, 800 eighth graders from Franklin, Edison and Washington Middle Schools will tour the campus and get a first-hand experience of college from UWGB students acting as role models.

Along with sitting in for a mock lecture, students will explore college recreational opportunities and residential life at on-campus housing.

Phuture Phoenix schedule:

•    April 1-2: Franklin Middle School
•    April 10-11: Edison Middle School
•    April 23-24: Washington Middle School
