Veterans Returning Home from Old Glory Honor Flight

92 war veterans will be welcomed home in Appleton Wednesday night after being part of an “Old Glory Honor Flight” to Washington D.C.

Two World War II veterans, five Korean War veterans and 85 Vietnam War veterans flew to Washington to see the memorials built in their honor. 

Friends, family members, and the public will be arriving at Appleton International Airport at 7:30 p.m. to welcome the heroes home. The flight is expected to be on the ground by 8:30 p.m. All are welcomed to attend.
