WAMI Awards Rescheduled to May 20th

The Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Awards have been rescheduled for May 20th at 7 p.m.

According to a media release sent to Local 5, tickets for the original Sunday, April 15th ceremony, canceled due to weather, will be honored on May 20th.

The WAMI awards honor the best in Wisconsin’s music.

The 2018 WAMI awards will include presentations of over 35 WAMI Awards including “Artist of the Year”, “Album of the Year”, and “Song of the Year”.

The event will also feature music from approximately eight WI artists from different genres and different parts of the state.

Three of the latest WAMI Hall of Famers, Bunny Berigan, Stevie Rachelle, and Billy Flynn will also be inducted.

Ticket holders who cannot attend the May 20 date can request a refund from their original point of purchase.

Those who purchased through the Center’s ticket office can call (920) 730-3760. Ticket holders who purchase through Ticketmaster can contact Ticketmaster by calling (800) 982-2787. Refunds must be requested by Friday, April 27 at 6 p.m.

Tickets for the May 20 event are on sale now. Tickets are $29.50 general admission, $15 for students and $60 VIP seats are also available. Tickets can be purchased at the Fox Cities P.A.C. ticket office in person, by phone at (920) 730-3760 or through ticketmaster.com.
