For the second time in just over a week, a Waupaca County Sheriff’s marked squad car was hit by an impaired driver.
The incident happened December 1st at 7:30 pm. The deputy was driving on State Highway 22 when the driver of another vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign on Symco Road and hit the squad car.
No one was hurt in the crash. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, their 4th offense within 5 years.
