What You Need to Know For Election Day

It’s officially Election Day in Wisconsin! Local 5 wants to make sure you’re prepared before you head to the polls and cast your ballot.

Polls opened at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Don’t know your polling place? Click here. 

You can still register to vote on Election Day if you haven’t done so already. You need to make sure to have a current and valid Wisconsin Driver’s Licence, or a Wisconsin State ID card. Click here for more information about registering. 

When you go to vote, make sure to have a photo ID. For a more detailed explanation, click here. 

There’s several statewide and local races on the ballot that Local 5 will be covering throughout the day. As results come in, you can track them on our website by clicking here. Local 5 News at 10 will also have the most up-to-date results as the night winds down.
