The wildfires in California are at historic highs as active fires continue to burn from Northern to Southern California.

But the firefighters there aren’t alone.

As of this Tuesday morning, Wisconsin has 37 state affiliated firefighters on state assignments and four type 6x engines on assignment.

Below is a list of where the firefighters are stationed and how many are there:

Wyoming – 3, one engine

Colorado – 2

Oregon – 9

California – 4

Washington – 13, two engines

Idaho – 3, one engine

Utah – 3

Of the 37 out on the West Coat, 33 are Wisconsin DNR employees and four are causal hires for a federal agency.
