Wisconsin DOJ says Dassey’s petition should be denied

The Wisconsin Department of Justice says “The Petition should be denied” in regards to Brendan Dassey’s appeal to have the United States Supreme Court hear his case.

The Wisconsin DOJ released the brief. You can read the entire document in whole here.

Dassey and his uncle Steven Avery were convicted in the 2005 death of Teresa Halbach. Their stories were made famous through the Netflix documentary “Making A Murderer.”
