It’s the start of kitten season, where many kittens are being born but some may not be as lucky to have their mothers, and that’s why the Wisconsin Humane Society needs your help.
The Wisconsin Humane Society Campus’ in Sturgeon Bay and Green Bay are hosting open houses for those interested in fostering kittens who have been orphaned. They are neonatal kittens who are too young to eat solid food on their own.
The kittens are generally one day to four weeks old and may need feeding as often as every two to three hours. Other duties could simply be just keeping them warm.
The open houses are Tuesday, May 15th:
- Door County Campus, 1pm – 2pm, 3475 Park Dr. Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235
- Green Bay Campus, 5pm – 6pm, 1830 Radisson St. Green Bay, WI 54302
If you are interested in the open houses, please RSVP with Tania Huycke-Phillips at firstname.lastname@example.org with the session and number of people attending.
If you are unable to make it to the open houses but are still interested in fostering please go to www.wihumane.org/foster to learn about the WHS foster program.
