Woman arrested for counterfeit $100 bills

One woman was arrested after police say she was involved with a string of counterfeit $100 bills. 

Ashlee Nicole Cherney, 27, was taken into custody in reference to a string of counterfeit $100 bills that were passed at Green Bay businesses. 

Cherney is currently being held on a probation violation and charges of uttering/forgery. Police say charges of theft by fraud are pending.
