Woman, four children rescued in SWAT standoff

No one was hurt early Wednesday morning after a hours long police standoff in Fond Du Lac.

Shortly before 2 a.m, Fond Du Lac police were called to a home on N. Peters Ave for a domestic abuse situation involving a gun. The Fond Du Lac police SWAT team and Fond Du Lac County Sheriff’s office joined in the call.

After a five hour standoff, police were able to enter the home and rescue a woman and her four children. After that the suspect, a 25 year old Fond Du Lac man was arrested without incident.

No one was injured.
