WPS: Customers can expect to pay less on heating bills this winter

Local News

(WFRV) — Wisconsin Public Service says customers can expect to see lower heating bills this winter.

The average customer can expect to pay 4% less than this year compared to last. WPS says this is equivalent to about $23 in savings.

Officials say these tips can help you save even more on your bill:

  • Turn the thermostat down 7-10 degrees when you’re asleep or away
  • Seal gaps around windows, doors, and siding to keep warm air in
  • Schedule a furnace tune-up for safety and efficiency
