One person is dead after a crash in Suamico.

Just before 11:30 p.m Wednesday night, Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a one vehicle crash on County Highway J.

Officials say the car was driving south when it entered a ditch and turned over.

A 21 year old woman in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another passenger, a 23 year old woman, was taken to the hospital for non life threatening injuries, while the driver, a 20 year old woman, refused medical treatment.

The crash is still under investigation, but the sheriff’s office says alcohol was a factor.
