YWCA Conversation Series Aims to “Stand Against Racism”

Local News

The YWCA of Greater Green Bay kicked off its 2018-2019 “Stand Against Racism” series Wednesday, with its first “lunch and learn” event.

The event featured Firthouse Azad, a SharePoint Administrator/Developer at Cellcom and immigrant from India.

Azad shared her journey with the crowd, and gave the crowd a chance to ask her questions about her experience coming to America from a conservation Muslim family.

This is the first in a series of events the YWCA of Greater Green Bay will host this year.
