The Packers have placed Aaron Rodgers on injured reserve, this time ending his season.

The team announced they have signed QB Joe Callahan back to the active roster, presumably to back up Brett Hundley the rest of the season.

In other moves, Green Bay released FB Joe Kerridge off the active roster and QB Jerrod Evans from the practice squad.

Rodgers returned in the 31-24 loss to the Panthers Sunday after missing 8-weeks due to a broken collarbone.  In his return the two-time MVP was 26/45 for 290 yards, 3 TD’s and 3 INT’s.

Green Bay was eliminated from playoff contention when the Falcons defeated the Buccaneers Monday night.
