The Green Bay Packers are down another piece in the secondary after parting ways with Makinton Dorleant on Monday.

Dorleant was waived by Green Bay with the failed physical designation. The rookie defensive back was sidelined early last season due to a hamstring injury, and was activated off injured reserve in December. Dorleant later tore his ACL after appearing in four games for the Packers.

Last month Dorleant was arrested in Iowa and cited for interfering after an altercation outside a Cedar Rapids bar. Former college teammate, and Chicago Bears cornerback Deiondre’ Hall was also arrested in the incident, and charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and interference.
