Update: 1 dead and 1 injured in crash

VILLAGE OF HARRISON, Wisc. (WFRV) – One man is dead and another man injured after a vehicle crashed into a sweeper truck on US Highway 10 in the Village of Harrison.

The driver of the vehicle, 28 year old Andrew Graverson from the Town of Menasha, was pronounced dead at the scene.

50 year old Derrick Burkhalter from Hilbert, the driver of the sweeper truck, was flown by Theda Star to Theda Clark Medical center with critical injuries.

It appears that the Calumet County Highway Department was in the process of grading the shoulder of the road when the incident happened.

The crash is under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
