Eric Simonson’s third Door Kinetic Arts Festival starts Sunday, June 10, for a kaleidoscopic week of activity at Bjorklunden lodge.
Simonson’s career spans multiple arts, as does the festival he founded to nurture creative output by professionals of varied fields – theater, film, dance and literature among them.

+ Sunday, June 10, 2-4 p.m.: Lucky Plush – Dance Master Class. The returning dance company Lucky Plush will leading a session at Andria’s Dancing on the Door School of Dance in Egg Harbor. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
+ Monday-Friday, June 11-15, 9 a.m.-noon: Art and the Cocktail. A weeklong seminar with Eric Simonson, the Oscar-winning and Tony-nominated filmmaker, playwright and director, and his brother, Robert Simonson, drinks reporter for The New York Times and author of several cocktail books, complementing the festival.
+ Monday, June 11, 7-8 p.m., Film: “Thom Pain,” featuring Rainn Wilson of “The Office.” Film screening and discussion with 2018 artist-in-residence, Rainn Wilson. Festival pass required.
+ Monday, June 11, 9:30-10:30 p.m., Film Festival & Cocktails – Animation Block. Oscar-nominated and selected animated shorts will be shown alongside free cocktails. Vote for your favorite.
+ Tuesday, June 12, 3-5:30 p.m., Literature Workshop: Holiday Reinhorn Writing Workshop at Kress Pavilion: “Developing, Designing, Reinventing, and Revitalizing Your Daily Writing Process.” This event is free to the public. Email email@example.com to register.

+ Wednesday, June 13, 7-8 p.m., Cocktails: Hollywood Night – Cocktail Presentation. With artist-in-residence, Robert Simonson. Festival pass required.
