GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – You may see a lot of people wearing yellow this coming friday, and they want you too sport the bright colore as well.

The group, Sting Cancer, from Preble High School, helped organize Wear Yellow Day in Wisconsin.

The concept is simple. Just wear yellow on Friday, May 8th.
Nick Nesvacio is a teacher at Preble. When he was diagnosed with cancer in 2004 he and a small group of students started Sting Cancer to raise awareness and help families affected by cancer.

Starting Monday at the school you can buy a yellow shirt and help start the conversation on Friday.

“If you don’t have a yellow shirt, if you have one from the past, or if you have a business job and you have a yellow tie, or a yellow dress or anything at all,” Nesvacio said. “If you’re not able to get anything from us, please, just honor the fight by wearing yellow anything.”

All of the money raised from shirt sales goes to help those fighting cancer.
