From Storm Team 5…
Winds crank up today, but it becomes sunny. Other than a few afternoon clouds, we’ll keep sun in the sky with high temperatures around 56 degrees. Northwest winds will range from 15 to 30 miles per hour later today.
Tonight, it will still be breezy in the evening but skies will stay mostly clear heading into the late night hours. Temperatures will fall to 33 degrees by morning.
Saturday gets interesting! Clouds will increase in the morning, followed by a chance for rain or snow into the aftenoon and evening. The focus for this precipitation will be in the southern sections of the area. Snow totals look meager, but communties south of Appleton will have the chance for some grassy, wet snow accumulation. Southern Wisconsin by Madison and Milwaukee will have the potential for several inches of snow and it will get sloppy down there later in the day.
Sunday turns dry again. Some sunshine will emerge, but it will be cooler with highs in the low 50s.
Another system returns Monday. This will bring a chance for scattered rain showers, mixed with some snowflakes to the north. Highs will be cool again around 49 degrees.
