Wisconsin homeowner hogtied a burglar

KENOSHA, Wis. (WFRV) – A Kenosha homeowner reportedly stopped a burglary by hogtying the suspect with a garden hose. 

The Kenosha News reported Jerril Grover was in his basement when he heard a noise outside his window. He went upstairs and found someone hanging halfway inside a bedroom window. 

Grover, a high school wrestling coach. told police that he smashed a vase over the man’s head, pushed him back out of the window and then tied him up in the backyard with a garden hose. He laid on the suspect until police arrived. 

Officers say the suspect, 22-year-old Philip Tabili of Kenosha, also had stolen money from Grover’s car.
