Packers free agent Richard Rodgers is headed to a Super Bowl Champion.
The Philadelphia Eagles announced Wednesday that they’ve signed a one-year deal with the tight end.
In his four years with Green Bay, Rodgers hauled in 120 catches for 1,166 yards and 13 touchdowns. His most famous touchdown came in the Motor City, where Rodgers came down with the game-winning Hail Mary touchdown from Aaron Rodgers on Dec. 3, 2015.
Rodgers, 26, was a third-round pick in 2014, and played in 63 games with 24 starts with the Packers.
Last season, Rodgers finished with 12 receptions for 160 yards and a touchdown.
After a promising year at tight end last season with the likes of Martellus Bennett, Lance Kendricks and Rodgers, the tight end room will look different in 2018. The depth chart this year at tight end will include: Jimmy Graham, Lance Kendricks, Emanuel Byrd and Robert Tonyan.
