(WFRV) – The Packers have announced they are releasing tight end Jace Sternberger.

After serving his two-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance and abuse policy, Green Bay has cut ties with their former third round draft pick. In June, Sternberger took to Twitter to appologize after news spread of his suspension.

Sternberger played in 18 games during his two year tenure with the Packers. He caught one touchdown and posted 114 receiving yards since 2019.
