UPDATE: Donate Life Walk Rescheduled for May 5th

People In Our Community

UPDATE: The Northeast Wisconsin Donate Life Walk will be now be held May 5th. A record snowfall forced the cancellation of the walk which was originally scheduled for the morning of April 14th in Howard.  Organizers are hopeful that walkers will be able to reschedule for May 5th, and we’ll have better weather!

The N.E.W. Donate Life Walk raises awareness for organ transplantation and donation. The event also raises funds to support these efforts through the annual fun run/walk. Online registration is now closed, but onsite registration opens at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Local 5’s Erin Davisson is a transplant recipient and will be emceeing the event. For more on the walk click here.

The event is being held at Bay View Middle School in Green Bay. The walk starts at 9 a.m.

Here is the latest from the Northeast Wisconsin Donate Life Walk Facebook page:

Thank you to the entire NEW Donate Life Walk community for your heartfelt messages about the work we do. That has inspired us to RESCHEDULE!! Please put SATURDAY, MAY 5th on your calendars. We know it is short notice, but we have all these AMAZING Silent Auction items that must be auctioned! Not to mention T-shirts to be distributed, stories to share, and awareness to raise.
We will be re-opening the walk registration (at the $15 rate) on Monday, April 16th to anyone who was unable to attend on 4/14/18 and now can! We are hoping for your continued support !
