Jeffress Named to the National League All-Star Team

Jeremy Jeffress has been named to the National League All-Star team, giving the Brewers a franchise-record five players in the Midsummer Classic.

Jeffress replaces injured Nationals closer Sean Doolittle on the N.L. squad.

The Brewers reliever has a 0.99 ERA and 0.84 WHIP in 44 appearances this season.

Jeffress joins Christian Yelich, Lorenzo Cain, Josh Hader, and “Final Vote” winner Jesus Aguilar as Milwaukee Brewers representatives headed to the All-Star Game in Washington D.C.
