Southwest grad Scharping ends Green Bay’s NFL Draft drought

Update: Max Scharping has been selected by the Houston Texans with the 55th overall pick in the second round.


Despite being in the shadow of Lambeau Field, it’s been three decades since any graduate of a Green Bay public high school heard their name called in the NFL Draft. Former Southwest standout Max Scharping has a chance to live out his NFL dreams and end his hometown’s draft drought.
