UW-Green Bay’s Jessica Lindstrom will get a chance to make a WNBA roster.
Following an illustrious career with the Phoenix, Lindstrom was recently extended an invitation to the Los Angeles Sparks’ WNBA Training camp, which begins April 29.
She’s now only the fifth player in the program’s history to play in the WNBA in some capacity.
Lindstrom, a Superior native, went undrafted, but was the only player in the program’s Division 1 history to surpass 900 rebounds, finishing off her career with 1,030. She was a first-team All-Horizon League member as well as an all-defensive team selection in her senior season, leading the Phoenix to yet another Horizon League championship this year.
