WINTER STORM WATCH late tonight thru late Sunday night–
Rain expands in coverage as we go through this late morning and afternoon. Northeast winds will be quite brisk between 15-30 mph, gusting into the 30’s this afternoon. Rain shifts to freezing rain & sleet as we go through the late evening hours tonight. Temps drop into the lower 30’s.
Saturday morning opens up slippery with a wintry mix on-going. Precipitation backs off for a bit mid-late morning into the afternoon before more moisture pushes back in during the evening hours heading into early Sunday. Highs reach the low 30’s tomorrow as northeast winds go strong at 25-40 mph, gusting to 45, perhaps 50 mph at times.
A new wintry mix shifts over to all snow and accumulates several inches in Green Bay before everything winds down later Sunday. The greatest amounts of double-digits will likely be near and north of Green Bay with amounts tapering the further south you get from Green Bay. Sunday will be quite windy as well but at a lesser level than that of Saturday.
Snow showers wind down late Sunday into early Monday morning but lots of clouds will be left with us to start the new workweek. Highs land in the low to mid 30’s on Monday. Breezy winds continue.
Tuesday turns out mostly sunny and temps jump into the low 40’s during the afternoon. Wednesday brings in a new system from the west that can result in a new round of rain and snow showers. Readings will be chilly in the middle 30’s for highs. Thursday goes drier again under partly sunny skies. Numbers reach to near 40 degrees.
