From Storm Team 5…
IT’S BEEN A CLOUDY AND CHILLY START TO THE WEEK WITH SPOTTY RAIN SHOWERS PASSING THROUGH – EVEN A FEW SNOWFLAKES OR ICE PELLETS WILL MIX IN WITH THE PASSING RAIN SHOWERS THIS EVENING – EXPECT BLUSTERY AND COLD CONDITIONS AS WE HEAD INTO THIS EVENING – THE COLD AIR WILL MAKE HALLOWEEN MORE OF A TRICK THAN A TREAT THIS YEAR.
Mostly cloudy skies carry through tonight along with a passing flurry and lows that drop into the low 30’s by daybreak Tuesday morning. Mostly cloudy skies are likely for Halloween and readings stay chilly in the lower 40’s for highs. Trick-or-Treat temps will be in the middle 30’s.
Wednesday afternoon brings our next chance for widespread rain to the area. Cool temps top out in the lower half of the 40’s on Wednesday under increasing clouds. Thursday keeps scattered showers around but temps push a bit milder into the upper 40’s.
Friday looks partly sunny and drier with the mercury headed for the lower 40’s. A spotty shower or two will be possible on Saturday followed by a better chance for showers, even a rumble of thunder later on Sunday.
