Monday Evening Forecast

Showers and a few thunderstorms will move through the area this evening. The rest of the overnight will feature partly cloudy skies with lows in the upper 30s to near 40.

Tuesday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with highs much cooler than Monday in the upper 40s and low 50s. A north breeze will produce clouds off of Lake Superior which could bring a few sprinkles or flurries to the area during the afternoon.

A larger storm system will take aim on the region late Wednesday through Friday. Depending on the track there is the potential for heavy snowfall across the viewing area. The energy responsible for this storm is still over the eastern Pacific, so the exact details in the track and placement of the heaviest snowfall is still not completely clear. Stay tuned for the latest updates!
