Monday Video Forecast 4/2

Happy Monday folks! Sunshine gets swallowed up by more clouds as we go into the afternoon. Chilly temperatures only rise into the upper 30’s as southwest winds shift to the southeast at 5-10 mph. Some flurries or light snow gets going late day into this evening out to the west and north of Green Bay.

Tonight we look for light snow to gradually increase in coverage across the rest of Northeast Wisconsin into the overnight period. Lows bottom out in the upper 20’s.

Slippery travel is expected by the morning commute tomorrow as an inch to a couple inches will fall before daybreak.

Tuesday brings periods of snow, some heavy at times. Highs tomorrow reach the lower 30’s as northeast winds crank up and go between 15-25 mph with higher gusts included. Snow will taper down early Wednesday morning but not before depositing 5″-9″ across the viewing area.

This will be a wet, heavy type of snow which will tend to melt and compress as it falls, but certainly a heart attack to shovel and snow blow.

Sunshine breaks out by later Wednesday morning but it will certainly be cold with numbers only climbing into the lower 30’s. It is to be quite breezy on Wednesday making it feel considerably colder.

Thursday sees a new chance for flurries or light snow amidst mostly cloudy skies. Cold readings top out in the middle 30’s and yet again winds will be quite brisk.

Friday brings partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies and a chance for scattered flurries. Very cold temperatures only reach the middle 20’s. Expect windy weather to continue.

A mix of sun & clouds is in store for Saturday along with temps in the lower 30’s. A new system may take aim on us later Sunday with a renewed chance for snow or a wintry mix. Highs get into the middle 30’s on the back half of the weekend.
