From Storm Team 5…
Rain and snow showers approaching the area through Sunday evening, but air temperatures continue to stay well above freezing near the ground. This means that any precipitation into tonight will fall in the form of rain, with any measurable snowfall staying near the Wisconsin-U.P. border. Lows tonight drop into the mid 40s, just a few degrees above freezing before early tomorrow morning.
MONDAY will begin with partly sunny skies, but winds will begin to pick up through the day out of the west that could gust as high as 35 miles per hour. A stray rain/snow shower can’t be ruled out later into the day as well, however, most spots will stay completely dry. Highs on Monday still on the cool side, with afternoon temperatures in the low 40s.
HALLOWEEN will be a nice day, especially for the daytime hours as sunshine works back into the forecast. The chilly fall air, however, will stick around as highs for Tuesday on reach the low 40s. Expect temperatures in the 30s for tick-or-treat time, so you will need to bundle the kiddos up in a few layers!
Better rain chances come back into the mix again during the evening on Wednesday and could easily continue through Thursday morning. Below normal temperatures on the way for the entire week ahead.
