From Storm Team 5…
Tonight, mostly clear skies are expected with temperatures dropping into the lower 60s. It will be another great night to view the Perseid Meteor Shower that will be seen once again Sunday night. Get away from the city lights to get the best view!
Monday will stay sunny, and temperatures will bump up a little bit into the upper 80s and lower 90s. Humidity will also play a factor making it feel muggy.
Tuesday brings sunshine for the first half of the day, and increasing clouds in the afternoon. A cold front will swing in from the northwest and deliver a chance for a few rain showers or thunderstorms later on. Temperatures will be back in the upper 80s for highs.
Wednesday, we’ll keep the chance for a few showers or rumbles of thunder around, otherwise cloudy and much cooler. Temperatures will drop back into the low to mid 70s.
Thursday, there is yet another chance for a few showers, mainly in the morning. Skies go partly sunny in the afternoon with temps in the middle 70s.
Friday, another round of high pressure moves in, which gives us a glance at mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will be back into the lower 80s before the start of next weekend.
