Good Thursday morning to everyone around NE Wisconsin! Sunshine returns for today but much cooler temperatures are on tap with highs only making it into the middle 50s. Brisk northwest winds at the start shift to the east this afternoon while tapering back a bit.
High-level clouds increase later this afternoon into this evening out ahead of the next weather system to move into our region overnight tonight. A few showers are likely to develop overnight into Friday morning but nothing dramatic is anticipated. Lows drop back into the middle 40s.
Friday brings a few spotty sprinkles or light showers but many hours should turn out to be rain-free. Highs land in the mid 50s. East to southeast winds will be breezy.
A better chance for heavier showers returns later Friday evening into the early hours of Saturday from mainly Green Bay and southward.
Saturday starts out damp but most hours should be on the dry side though mostly cloudy with temperatures reaching the lower 60s. A new pattern of scattered showers looks to return later Saturday evening into early Sunday morning.
Much of Sunday, however, likely turns out rain-free though a spotty shower or two will still be possible. The mercury stays a little lower on the back of the weekend and only hits the middle 50s.
Warmer air heads back northward early next week and temperatures move into the 70s for the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday time frame. A few showers and thunderstorms will be possible from time to time particularly on Wednesday.
