Snow will be tapering off in the early overnight. Snow totals will be in the 8-16″ range. Temperatures will be in the 20s – and winds will blow and drift the fluffy snow with a breeze up to 30 miles per hour.
Tonight, snow chances taper off shortly after midnight. Winds stay breezy and temperatures drop into the teens.
Snow accumulations of at least 8″ is expected. Much of the area will fall between 8-12″ with localized higher amounts possible.
An east wind off of Lake Michigan could create higher totals due to lake enhancement until mid morning for communities near the Lake Michigan shoreline.
Higher totals of 12″ to 14″ will be possible in central Wisconsin and in the northwoods and along the lakeshore as moderate snowfall could linger into this evening.
Tomorrow, partly sunny skies will emerge with another breezy first half of the day. Highs will be in the upper 20s.
