From Storm Team 5…
RAIN CHANCES WILL RISE ALONG WITH A FEW T-STORMS LATE TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY. MUCH COOLER AIR TO FOLLOW…
Plenty of sunshine and breezy southeast winds allowed temperatures to warm into the 70s for the 3rd time this year! I would highly recommend taking advantage of the warm temperatures now because we will be getting into a much cooler and wetter pattern for the end of the week and weekend.
Expect the first of two main rainy periods to get here early Wednesday and last into Thursday morning. Most areas will get .25″ to .75″ of rain with .75″ to 1.25″ of rain north of Green Bay.
The rain will bring in much cooler air with highs in the 40s to near 50 on Thursday.
Friday will be mostly cloudy, and mainly dry, with a just a small chance for some later day showers. Highs will be just under seasonal levels in the mid/upper 50s.
The last weekend of April will be cool. Mostly cloudy and dry weather is now expected for Saturday. Sunday brings the second main batch of heavier rain and chilly air as we end April and start May.
May is looking to start with lingering rain showers and highs only near 50.
