Good Tuesday folks! Overcast skies, mist, & drizzle greet us out the door this morning. Expect the clouds to hold on into the afternoon as dampness gradually diminishes. Cool highs only reach the upper 50s as northeast winds blow lightly at 5-10 mph.
Tonight we continue on with overcast conditions. The chance for showers and even a few thundershowers increases late evening into the overnight. Lows will be in the lower half of the 50s before temps begin to rise toward daybreak.
Wednesday starts on the wet side but activity shifts northward and we get a period of partly sunny skies and very windy southerly flow helping to boost the mercury into the upper 70s. South to southwest winds are to be brisk tomorrow sustained at 15-25 mph and gusting well into the 30s at times.
As a cold approaches tomorrow evening we likely get some additional thunderstorms to roll on through the region. Depending upon instability levels, gusty thunderstorms will be possible.
Thursday looks sunnier and cooler with numbers in the mid to upper 50s.
Friday brings increasing early morning clouds and a good chance for rain showers once again throughout the late morning and afternoon. Cool highs land in the mid 50s as winds go breezy making it feel quite cool once again.
Any early morning shower or thunderstorm comes to an end and most of Saturday looks a bit drier amidst a bit of filtered sunshine and highs near 60 degrees.
Sunday brings back more clouds and more rain showers as our next weather disturbance takes aim on Northeast Wisconsin. The mercury tops out in the middle 50s on the back half of the weekend.
Monday looks warmer in the upper 60s or so as the chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms continues.
