From Storm Team 5…
A frigid November day ahead! Wind chills will be down into the single digits and teens through the course of the day as a persistent breeze continues from 5 to 15 miles per hour. Afternoon highs only increase into the mid 20s, with mostly sunny skies especially for the back half of the day.
Later tonight, it will be very cold! Overnight lows drop back into the teens with wind chills in the single digits under mostly clear skies.
Tomorrow, more sunshine comes about as high pressure dominates the Midwest. Highs will be a bit warmer with a high around 32 degrees.
We keep the sunshine around for Thursday with temperatures slowly increasing to about 40 degrees.
Friday, clouds stream overhead as a trough of low pressure dives in. That may bring some light snow or flurries to the area later at night into Saturday morning. Highs end the week in the lower 40s.
Saturday, mostly cloudy skies and some flurries possible for the morning. Temperatures will take a hit again as we drop to 33 degrees in the afternoon.
Mostly sunny for Sunday, and highs around freezing.
A clipper system will move through on Monday and bring another chance for some flurries or snow showers. Temperatures stay on the chilly side, only around 30 degrees for an afternoon high.
