From Storm Team 5….
Another cold day today. Partly sunny skies will take us into the afternoon, and a few flurries falling from the clouds can not be ruled out. The big story will be the temperatures with highs in the middle to upper 20s, and wind chills that will be in the single digits and teens.
Tonight, it will be chilly with overnight lows dropping to about 17 degrees. Partly cloudy skies above.
Some sunshine returns for Wednesday with mostly sunny skies for the morning, and increasing clouds later in the day. Temperatures will reach the lower 30s. Later at night, snow showers will begin from west to east.
Snow showers continue through Thursday. Temperatures will reach the lower to middle 30s, which may help to turn those snow showers to rain or sleet in the afternoon. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS will mainly range from a half inch to two inches, with the highest amounts in central Wisconsin.
Warmer weather arrives Friday. Partly sunny skies and high temperatures in the upper 30s to around 40 degrees.
Eyes will be on another system Saturday, which will bring the chance of rain showers that may mix over to sleet or snow at times. High temperatures for the day in the upper 30s.
Another chance for a few flurries or light rain will be on Sunday as we increase temperatures back to 36 degrees.
