Good Wednesday out there! We look for mostly cloudy skies to start the day but better breaks for sunshine are to materialize into this afternoon. Temps will make a run into the upper 70’s to around 80 degrees for daytime highs. Northeast to east winds go rather lightly today between 5-10 mph. Rainfall stays at bay through the daylight hours and into this evening from Green Bay to the Fox Cities and over to the Lakeshore.
The chance for showers and thunderstorms goes up late evening into the overnight from west to east across the viewing area. Heavy downpours certainly will be possible as a more humid air mass builds in keeping overnight lows warmer in the middle 60’s.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to be possible through tomorrow afternoon but the most widespread coverage of precipitation is to be tomorrow morning. Lots of clouds are in the forecast for Thursday with minimal sunshine expected. A very humid one is expected. This will help to keep temps down in the middle 70’s for daytime highs. Southeast winds shift to southwest and will be breezy at times.
Activity winds down late Thursday and mainly dry weather is expected by Friday morning though a fair amount of clouds are likely to linger. Skies become partly sunny through Friday morning and afternoon and numbers climb as high as the upper 70’s.
A new weak weather disturbance approaches later Friday evening into the early hours of Saturday and may initiate a few showers for the first hours of Saturday. Most of the first half of our weekend, however, looks to shake out dry with a mixture of sun and clouds. Temps climb to near 80 degrees.
Sunday brings about a good deal of sunshine, passing clouds, and warmer temperatures headed for the low to mid 80’s. Much more humid air is likely to build through the back half of the weekend. A similarly warm & humid occasion is to play out on Monday as highs reach the middle 80’s. An approaching cold front / wind shift line may trigger a round of storms at some point later in the day.
