From Storm Team 5…
Skies clearing out enough for some pockets of sunshine through Wednesday morning. A few more clouds will come about to block that sun at times this afternoon, but the big factor out there will be the chilly breeze. Winds will be out of the northwest from 10 to 20 miles per hour with gusts possible up to 25. Even though highs will be in the mid 40s, it will feel like the 30s with the wind chill.
Here we go again! Chilly air returns Wednesday with highs only in the mid 40s. Factoring in the breezy wind, and this is what it will feel like this afternoon! pic.twitter.com/cfVypfe3Hy— Jordan Lamers (@jordan_lamers) October 17, 2018
Tonight, clouds clear out shortly after sunset, and clear skies will stay with us for the overnight. With no clouds, calm winds, and falling dew points, our overnight low temperatures will dip into the mid 20s before we open up the day tomorrow.
Thursday you can expect lots of sunshine, but winds still a bit breezy at times. Highs near 55 degrees.
Friday, partly sunny skies will kick off the day, and spotty showers begin to work in later on. Highs stay in the mid 50s.
Cooler weather arrives again for Saturday, plus some communities will get wet with rain showers. As temperatures drop at night, some of those rain showers will mix to snowflakes especially in the northwoods. Highs for the day will be around 44 degrees.
Sunday, clouds clear out again for more sunshine. Afternoon temperatures in the middle to upper 40s.
Monday and Tuesday will also usher in mostly sunny skies and highs both days in the lower to middle 50s.
