From Storm Team 5…
We measured just shy of 2″ of wet/heavy snow here in Green Bay this morning. The snow is now gone, but the cloudy and dreary weather is lingering on into the evening.
Friday night will stay cloudy with some mist and fog around. A round of light rain/snow showers will move through but no accumulation is expected as air temperatures stay at or above freezing. The dreary weather will be a slow process to clear out Saturday morning.
Mainly cloudy skies on Saturday will slowly clear Saturday night. An increasing southerly wind will kick in on Sunday and that means temperatures will get a nice bump. Expect highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s away from Lake Michigan.
A round of light rain showers will pass through Sunday evening and linger perhaps into early Monday. The cold front that will bring the round of light showers Sunday night eventually will mean another drop on the thermometer by midweek of next week.
A wetter system is looking to take shape Thursday into Friday of next week…looking more wet than white this go-round.
