Weekend Forecast: 3/9/2019

Our next winter storm gets here Saturday. Expect a mix of rain/sleet/snow to move in after 4 pm on Saturday. The wintry mix will change over to mainly heavy snow/sleet by mid evening with a strong easterly wind gusting to 35 mph.

The snow/sleet will continuet to push north through the overnight hours, and there will likely be a change over back to drizzle/rain for the lakeshore communities and south of the Fox Valley.

3-6″ of snow/sleet accumulation is expected north of highway 10. 1-3″ of snow/sleet/slush accumulation along highway 10 and points south.

The strong winds will ease for a short time into early Sunday morning…only to whip up again out of the west on Sunday.

Daylight saving time begins at 2:00 AM Sunday.
